STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

SERVICE
Slick Cleaning Ltd agrees to perform the work specified by every Client in a professional and efficient manner using every care to accomplish a satisfactory service.

By ordering Slick Cleaning Services by telephone, e-mail, or website the Client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of Slick Cleaning Ltd

SECURITY
All keys are kept safely, with no addresses, contact numbers, alarm codes or other personal information attached to them. Slick Cleaning Ltd will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. The Client should give specific instructions for deactivation/activation of any property alarm systems.

Working with Slick Cleaning Ltd is based on trust. Both the client and Slick Cleaning Ltd are obligated not to disclose any confidential information about each other to a third party.

INSURANCE
Slick Cleaning Ltd has comprehensive public and employer’s liability insurance.

In case of a complaint, Slick Cleaning Ltd requires information within 24 hours by telephone or within 48 hours in writing subsequent to the completed service.

No claims can be made against Slick Cleaning Ltd after the above time limits.

Potential claims must not be used upon new replacement value but upon the current value of the article concerned at the time of work taking place, taking into account wear and tear. Below is a list of conditions Slick Cleaning Ltd cannot be held responsible for:

  1. Delay for a cleaning visit due to traffic congestion
  2. Domestic cleaning job not complete due to the lack of suitable cleaning equipment. (Vacuum cleaner, cleaning materials etc.)
  3. Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely by the cleaning materials supplied by the client.
  4. Accidental damages due to faulty equipment provided by the Client.
  5. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed.
  6. Items excluded from liability are: cash, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.

MAINTENANCE
The Client is responsible for the provision of hot water, cleaning materials and equipment when booking a regular or one-off cleaning service unless other arrangements have been made with Slick Cleaning Ltd. Cleaning equipment must be in full working order.

END OF TENANCY CLEANING
The standard ‘end of tenancy’ cleaning does not include cleaning of walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, exterior windows, carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, cleaning cutlery or laundry unless specific arrangements have been made with Slick Cleaning Ltd.

REPLACEMENT CLEANERS
Slick Cleaning Ltd will provide the Client with a replacement cleaner if the regular cleaner is not available. (Holiday, sickness etc)

PRICING
Is available on our website and is reviewed annually

PAYMENT
Payment can be made by BACS, Standing Order, Cash or Cheque. The client will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting from a dishonoured cheque. No cleaning work will be undertaken unless the client settles all the outstanding balances.

TERMS OF PAYMENT
On receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made by Slick Cleaning Ltd

CANCELLATION
The Client may cancel or re-schedule a cleaning visit by giving at least 24 hours notice.

If not notified within 24 hours, Slick Cleaning Ltd will charge the full amount for the cleaning visit and no refund can be claimed.

If re-scheduling, please note that the Company cannot guarantee that the same operative will be available on the new day and at the time the Client requires. Any changes in the cleaning schedule are subject to availability.

The Client agrees to pay the full price of the cleaning visit, if: a) The Client cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment; b) The Client fails to provide access to the service premises thus preventing the Company to carry out the booked work; c) There is a problem with the Client's keys and the cleaning operatives cannot let themselves in. If keys are provided they must open all locks without any special efforts or skills.

The Client may terminate the regular cleaning service by giving four week’s notice in writing specifying the last cleaning date required. The Client must pay to Slick Cleaning Ltd any amounts that they owe under the agreement.

Slick Cleaning Ltd reserves the right to cancel a cleaning service with immediate effect due to non-payment of fees.

EMPLOYMENT REFERRAL FEE
The Client is liable for an employment referral fee of £500.00 per person, should they directly employ (either legally or on a cash basis) anyone currently employed by Slick Cleaning Ltd, within the 1 year period prior to such employment. The Client agrees to pay this fee whether he notifies the Company of his action or the Company discovers this employment independently at any time after it occurs. The Client further agrees to reimburse the Company for any and all collection or legal fees the Company incurs in collecting this fee.

APPENDIX
Slick Cleaning Ltd reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check our website for updates.

LAW
The relevant United Kingdom law shall govern these terms and conditions, and by agreeing to be bound by them the client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.
